Dr. Hari Charan Raju , Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Hari Charan Raju received his PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He has over 27 years of rich industrial experience in reputed Pharmaceutical industries handling several functionssuch as Process Chemistry, Project Management, Factory Management and Business Development/Marketing. Dr Raju has successfully handled several projects starting from process R&D(APIs) to commercialization in the plant. Prior to joining Firmus Laboratories, Dr Raju has served Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., Laurus Labs and Hikal Ltd., in key positions. At Hikal, he was the Head, business development &marketing for contract manufacturing division. Dr. Raju has authored several publications and is the inventor in severalpatents in process R&D of APIs.

At Firmus Labs, Dr. Raju oversees day to day operations, leads the commercial, marketing, business development functions.

Dr. Siva Sanjeeva Rao, Chief Operating Officer(COO):

Dr. Siva Sanjeeva Rao, a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Hebegan his career at Dr. Reddy’s Research Foundation, Hyderabad, has served Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., and Aurigene Discovery Technologies Ltd., over a span of 25 yearsholding different managerial and scientific positions. During his career, he has successfully led several projects in the areas of medicinal chemistry, natural products and development of lead compounds in scale up/process technologies. His medicinal chemistry efforts led to the discovery and development of several lead compounds, one of them is currently in Phase I/II clinical trials in the area of inflammation. Dr. Siva has 10 patents and several publications to his credit.

At Firmus Labs, Dr. Siva oversees purchases, business development and finance functions of the company.

Dr. Vijay Kumar N, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO):

Dr. Vijay Kumar Nyavanandi is the Chief Scientific Officer of Firmus Laboratories Private Limited, responsible for all the process R&D and manufacturing operations of the company. He earned his master’sdegree in Medicinal Chemistry from Osmania University and pursued his PhD in synthetic organic chemistry (Total Synthesis) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.Started his career in 1995, as a medicinal chemist in drug discovery programs at Dr. Reddy's Research Foundation, he has extensively worked for number of drug discovery projects in the area of Oncology, Metabolic Disorders and Cardiovascular area. In 2009, he moved on to Aurigene Discovery Technologies and continued working for drug discovery projects in Oncology area till 2017. His medicinal chemistry efforts led to the discovery and development of novel candidate compounds from two different programs which are currently in Phase II clinical development for Melanoma and Breast Cancer. During his 22 years stay at Dr. Reddy’s and Aurigene, he has served at different scientific and managerial positions and has gained immense knowledge in synthetic organic chemistry and process development aspects.Dr. Vijay has 5 patents and 10 publications to his credit.
